Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with functional impairments caused by injury, illness or disability, aiming to restore physical function and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients requiring physical therapy and assess functional limitations.
• Diagnose pain resulting from injury, disease or disabling conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform medical procedures such as disc decompression, prolotherapy and vertebroplasty.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide adaptive tools.
• Counsel patients and families on lifestyle adaptations and long‑term care.
• Conduct research to advance treatment of injuries and disabling conditions.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Current medical license in the country of origin.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum three years of post‑specialization experience.
