Consultant Physician – Neuroradiology

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Neuroradiology to join Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammad Medical City in Al Ain. The successful candidate will deliver expert diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with neurological conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, obtain detailed medical histories and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses and neurological disorders.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, and explain results to patients.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventive health and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts with current findings.
• Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications or therapies.
• Explain medical procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed and work closely with nurses and allied health staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and privacy laws.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Residency in Radiology with subspecialty training in Neuroradiology.
• Board certification in Radiology (e.g., MRCPsych, ABPN, CCT UK or equivalent).
• Valid Department of Health (DOH) licence for Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one.
• 3–5 years of post‑specialisation experience in a similar role.
• Experience in culturally diverse environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
