Contracts Manager – Utility‑Scale Renewable Projects

About the role

The Contracts Manager will lead the development, negotiation and execution of project agreements for a utility‑scale renewable portfolio covering solar, wind and battery energy storage systems across Africa. Based in Dubai, you will act as the primary point of contact for governments, utilities, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and finalize Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), EPC and O&M contracts.
• Secure favourable commercial terms with government entities, utilities and suppliers.
• Manage contractual and commercial risk from inception to handover.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate dispute resolution and act as the contractual liaison for all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of contract management experience, preferably in renewable energy.
• Proven track record in negotiating PPAs, EPC and O&M agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms and risk mitigation.
• Experience working with government bodies, utilities and EPC contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management or a related field.
