About the role
Careers International is recruiting a Corrosion Protection Engineer in Dubai for the oil and gas sector. The engineer implements corrosion prevention strategies, monitors protective systems and ensures the structural integrity of construction assets.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement corrosion protection systems
- Conduct site inspections and surveys
- Recommend protective coatings and materials
- Prepare technical reports and risk assessments
- Monitor cathodic protection systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Coordinate with contractors and QA/QC teams
- Troubleshoot failures and propose corrective actions
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Certified and registered professional
- 5+ years of experience in corrosion prevention
- Experience with oil and gas or infrastructure projects
- Good communication and reporting abilities
Required skills
- Knowledge of coating systems and cathodic protection
- Familiarity with international corrosion standards
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
