Cost Controller

About the role

Wafi Hospitality is looking for an experienced Cost Controller to lead cost control operations across its central stores and restaurant outlets. The role focuses on protecting profitability through precise inventory management, recipe costing, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cost control activities for all stores and outlets.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and recipe costing.
• Monitor food and beverage wastage and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Conduct production yield tests and spot checks to ensure compliance with approved recipes.
• Perform variance analysis on food cost, beverage cost, and inventory movements.
• Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present cost control reports and monthly Cost of Sales, menu engineering, and inventory reports.
• Maintain POS pricing structures and coordinate with delivery aggregators.
• Support operational teams in implementing best practices and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Cost Controller.
• Finance, Accounting or related educational background preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team members.
