CPC Relationship Banker

About the role

Citi is hiring a Relationship Banker for its Private Client Coverage team in Dubai. The role is a seasoned professional position that applies deep disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows, and integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. It requires strong analytical, communication and diplomatic skills, and regular informal or formal leadership within teams, including coaching and training new recruits.

Key responsibilities

• Review CPC customer needs and asset allocation, and proactively engage with customers to confirm their understanding of their needs.
• Advise customers to deepen their relationship by mobilizing additional funds and selling other fee-based products and services suited to current and future needs.
• Review product penetration across the assigned client base and identify prospects for tailored products.
• Ensure coverage of all relationships through customer engagements, risk profiling and financial planning.
• Organize customer events to strengthen customer bonds.
• Acquire new CPC customers by converting referral leads.
• Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms.
• Assess risk carefully, safeguard the firm's reputation and escalate, manage and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to evaluate moderately complex issues by weighing alternatives and balancing conflicting situations.
• Good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex material from multiple sources.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills; ability to influence decisions through advice and counsel.
