Customer Retention Director

About the role

Airalo is looking for a Customer Retention Director to own and evolve the lifecycle system that drives repeat usage, engagement and long‑term value. You will work across CRM, product and data teams to turn insights into actions that keep travelers coming back.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive lifecycle strategy covering activation, retention, engagement and referral.
• Lead all CRM channels end‑to‑end, including push notifications, email, in‑app messaging and app inbox.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to embed retention metrics into the core product experience.
• Analyse user behavior to answer the core question: what makes users return?
• Design and run experiments that increase usage frequency and customer lifetime value.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling retention programs for digital products.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

Required skills

• Experience managing CRM channels such as push, email and in‑app messaging.
