Data Analyst – Supply Forecasting & Inventory

About the role

The Data Analyst will support the Technical Supply and Planning departments by providing accurate supply forecasts and inventory analysis for equipment systems. This role ensures optimal stock levels, safety reserves, and maintenance readiness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide annual supply forecasting requirements for the Annual Service Plan (ASP).
• Analyse due‑ins from OEMs, vendors, and balance on hand for assigned equipment systems.
• Coordinate with Technical Supply and Technical Planning to advise on platform stock levels and assess inventory balances.
• Review inventory data and recommend optimal line‑item stock levels for main stores, including safety and reserve levels.
• Maintain spares master data records, conduct demand analysis, and support requisition of authorized supplies.
• Apply continuous improvement and LEAN management principles to material processes.
• Facilitate maintenance of the spares master data record in the computer system.
• Ensure issued tools, test equipment and high‑value property are serviced, inventoried and safeguarded.
• Support material‑section colleagues and maintain confidentiality of company documents.
