Data Engineer (Azure & Databricks)

About the role

Amana is looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer with a Microsoft Azure and Databricks background to join its Data Science team. The role covers designing data warehousing and BI solutions, gathering requirements from business customers and working with other technology teams to extract, transform and load data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect data warehousing and BI solutions that span multiple business functions
• Gather requirements from business customers and deliver complete data engineering, data warehousing and analytics solutions
• Work with other technology teams to extract, transform and load data from many sources

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of end-to-end data engineering experience; 4 to 5 years of hands-on Azure experience
• M.Tech / B.E. / B.Tech (CS, IS, IT) / MCA / MCS
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
• Experience with Synapse Dedicated and Serverless pools, dimensional modeling, CI/CD in ADF and Databricks, and ETL pipelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Databricks: Unity Catalog, declarative pipelines, PySpark
• Power BI (DAX, data modeling, RLS) and Azure Analysis Services
