Data Engineer

About the role

Mediclinic Middle East is looking for a Data Engineer to build, run and improve data pipelines, enterprise data models and governed data products that support reporting, analytics and AI across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and enterprise data models for the Operational Excellence workstream.
• Deliver governed data products through the Denodo access layer for reporting, the Operations Command Centre and AI use cases.
• Ensure data quality, security and integrity for baseline and benefit evidence.
• Document work, follow engineering standards and support data consumers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL or database development.
• Experience with healthcare data (EHR, claims, clinical coding) and data virtualization is desired.

Required skills

• InterSystems IRIS for Health or comparable healthcare data platform.
• Denodo data virtualization.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services, Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender.
• Cloud & hybrid networking (Azure/AWS connectivity, DNS, routing).
• Data engineering, data science and analytical methods (statistics, machine learning, AI).
• Agile development methodologies and BPMN 2.0 process knowledge.
