Data Engineer – Operational Excellence

About the role

The Data Engineer will build, run and improve data pipelines, enterprise data models and governed data products that support reporting, analytics and AI for Mediclinic Middle East’s Operational Excellence workstream.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and enterprise data models for the Operational Excellence workstream.
• Deliver governed data products through the Denodo access layer for reporting, the command centre and AI use cases.
• Ensure the quality, security and integrity of data that underpins baselines and benefit evidence.
• Work to engineering standards, document work and support data consumers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL or database development; preferably more than 5 years in healthcare data platforms.

Required skills

• InterSystems IRIS for Health or HealthShare.
• Denodo data virtualization.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Cloud security (Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender).
• Experience with real‑time or near‑real‑time data feeds.
