Demi Chef De Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

As a Demi Chef De Partie at Swissotel Al Ghurair, you will ensure the highest quality and standards of food served while guiding daily kitchen operations. You will also train Commis and trainees to develop their culinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain kitchen equipment, machinery, and tools correctly.
• Ensure proper care, handling, and utilization of all food items in the preparation kitchen.
• Supervise and monitor the performance of team members under your supervision.
• Prepare and check store requisitions, manage daily orders for satellite kitchens, and oversee inter‑kitchen transfers.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning in the preparation kitchen.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to motivate a kitchen team.
• Creative and passionate about culinary arts and guest service.
• Ability to perform under high‑pressure conditions while maintaining consistency and quality.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
