Demi Chef de Partie - Lobby Lounge

About the role

Rosewood Abu Dhabi is hiring a Demi Chef de Partie for its Majlis By Pierre Hermé lobby lounge. The role reports to the Junior Sous Chef and supports the operation of the assigned kitchen section, keeping food quality, safety and service standards high.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of an assigned kitchen section and ensure readiness for all service periods
• Prepare and present dishes according to recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, hygiene and workplace organisation
• Monitor product quality, portion control and proper storage of ingredients and prepared items
• Help maintain and clean kitchen equipment and food preparation areas
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and collaborative kitchen environment

Required profile

• Experience in a professional culinary environment, preferably a luxury hotel or quality-focused restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and food safety standards
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Effective communication in English; additional languages are an advantage
