Design Manager – Infrastructure

About the role

The company is expanding its UAE operations and seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead design coordination across major infrastructure, transport, building and mixed‑use projects. The role spans architecture, structures, civil, MEP and specialist disciplines, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across multiple technical disciplines and ensure delivery against programme, quality and client requirements.
• Manage design changes, technical queries and unresolved interfaces, overseeing BIM coordination and model‑based workflows.
• Support authority submissions, drive approvals and work with project management on programme, resource and fee considerations.
• Identify technical risk early, contribute to value engineering, option studies and proposal development.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in design management, engineering management or technical project delivery.
• At least 5 years working in the GCC with strong understanding of UAE design approvals and authority processes.
• Relevant engineering, architecture or construction degree; professional chartership or PMP preferred.
