DevOps Engineer

About the role

This DevOps Engineer position covers the design, build and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines and automation. The role works closely with development teams to keep cloud infrastructure tightly integrated with backend and frontend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton and other automation tools.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform, YAML and other declarative tools.
• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Ensure networking and connectivity between cloud services and on-premise systems (VPN, firewalls).
• Collaborate with development teams so that cloud infrastructure integrates smoothly with backend and frontend services.
• Automate infrastructure processes for efficient deployment, scaling and monitoring.
• Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud or other cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to keep uptime high and service disruptions minimal.
• Evaluate, test and integrate new technologies to improve platform stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Preferred: experience in regulated industries such as banking, insurance or e-commerce; familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; performance tuning of large-scale, high-traffic systems.

Required skills

• Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and other containerization technologies.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD and Tekton.
• Scripting in Shell, Python or GoLang.
• Git, GitHub and GitLab for code management and review.
• Networking, firewalls, VPNs and cloud security best practices.
• Microservice architecture and troubleshooting of frontend and backend performance issues.
• Certifications in AWS, Google Cloud or Oracle, or DevOps tools, are a plus.
