Digital, Data, IP and Technology Associate (1-5 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated associate to join our Digital, Data, IP and Technology (DDIT) team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves advising on complex commercial contracts, technology procurements, data protection compliance and IP licensing for high‑profile government and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, amend and negotiate a wide range of DDIT agreements, including technology transactions and telecoms deals.
• Provide strategic advice on data protection, privacy and cybersecurity matters under UAE law.
• Support corporate teams on M&A, joint‑venture and related transactions.
• Manage client expectations, project timelines and delivery quality.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 1‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.
• Experience in technology transactions, commercial contracts, or non‑contentious IP matters.
• Familiarity with UAE data protection, privacy or cybersecurity regulations is desirable.
