Director Communications – EurAsia Commercial Enablement

About the role

The Communications leader will drive strategic internal communications for the EurAsia Commercial Enablement function, reporting to the VP of EurAsia Communications and the SVP of EurAsia Commercial Enablement. The role focuses on employee engagement, change communications, and enhancing executive visibility across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the SVP’s priorities and broader EurAsia goals.
• Create and deliver internal communications that connect employees to strategy, performance, and ways of working through leader channels, forums, digital platforms, and meetings.
• Shape executive communications and visibility for the SVP and other leaders, translating business strategy into compelling narratives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Medtronic’s profile through thought leadership and external visibility when aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with Global Communication & Corporate Marketing colleagues on external media engagement and reputation initiatives.
• Use data‑driven insights to measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic internal or corporate communications (or 8 years with a master’s degree).
• Proven ability to build trust with senior leadership and act as a strategic advisor in a highly matrixed, global organization.
• Experience leading communications in healthcare or technology environments, managing organizational change, and using metrics to evaluate impact.
• Strong generalist experience across multiple communications disciplines and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
