Director – Digital & Technology

About the role

The Director – Digital & Technology will own a three‑horizon digital roadmap covering smart physical operations, a digital marketplace platform and a regional AI‑powered platform. The role drives platform strategy, vendor relationships and integration with government systems while leading a small digital product team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the digital marketplace product strategy, including B2B trade enablement and tenant services.
• Lead development of AI‑powered capabilities such as demand forecasting, predictive analytics and intelligent supply‑chain optimization.
• Establish data‑architecture foundations to support advanced analytics and future AI initiatives.
• Manage integration with the Abu Dhabi Trade & Logistics Platform and other government systems.
• Oversee Phase I technology systems (CRM, ERP, access management) with a July 2026 go‑live deadline.
• Lead RFP processes, vendor selection and technology gap assessments for new platforms.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution across Commercial, Operations and Technology teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Supply Chain or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, product management or technology strategy, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record launching digital platforms or marketplaces, preferably B2B.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience influencing results in complex matrix organisations without direct authority.
