Director - Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Director, Group Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the Group's financial records across all entities and jurisdictions, supporting rapid growth and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting activities, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closes.
• Maintain IFRS compliance, govern Group Accounting Policies and oversee statutory financial statement preparation.
• Establish and maintain robust Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and drive audit readiness.
• Standardize accounting processes, drive ERP optimization, automation and digital finance initiatives.
• Support market entry, M&A, joint ventures and restructuring from an accounting perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) required.
• 15+ years progressive accounting experience, with at least 7 years in senior controllership or finance leadership.
• Experience in large multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction organisations and finance transformation.
