Director of Asset Management

About the role

The Asset Director will join Skyways Technics’ senior management team to lead the full lifecycle management of high‑value aviation assets, including aircraft, engines and landing gears. Reporting to the VP Assets, the role shapes and executes the company’s asset strategy to align with market demand, commercial goals and long‑term profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise the asset portfolio to meet market needs and commercial strategy.
• Lead acquisition of second‑hand aircraft (ATR, A320, B737) and negotiate commercial terms from LOI to SPA.
• Source, acquire, sell, lease and exchange landing gears and engines on the global market.
• Oversee documentation reviews, ensuring traceability and maintenance history compliance.
• Maintain direct commercial relationships with key customers, prospects and partners worldwide.
• Develop business cases, cash‑flow scenarios and monitor profitability of assets and projects.
• Provide transversal leadership to international sales teams and drive collaboration across regions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in aviation asset management or aftermarket commercial operations.
• Proven track record in negotiating and structuring high‑value asset transactions.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence global sales teams and senior executives.
• Deep understanding of aircraft, engine and landing‑gear markets and associated documentation.
