Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources is a member of the Executive Committee and leads all HR functions to support the hotel’s business objectives. This senior position shapes the associate experience, drives operational effectiveness, and ensures compliance with local labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s HR strategy aligned with business goals and brand standards.
• Advise the General Manager and Executive Committee on people‑related matters.
• Partner with department leaders on workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour law, government regulations and company policies.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture that enhances engagement, retention and productivity.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits.
• Monitor HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) and implement improvement actions.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.
• Business acumen with understanding of financial and operational drivers.
