Director of Legal – Corporate Law

About the role

Dubai Holding Real Estate is seeking a senior legal professional to provide strategic advice and hands‑on corporate and commercial support. The role ensures legal risks are managed while enabling the business to achieve its commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the provision of legal advice on corporate, commercial, governance and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements, corporate transactions, MOUs and business contracts.
• Support senior management on key initiatives, complex legal matters and strategic projects.
• Advise on corporate structures, governance arrangements and delegated authorities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, escalating material issues as needed.
• Manage the organisation’s intellectual property portfolio.
• Coordinate with external counsel and counterparties on domestic and international matters.
• Guide and mentor junior legal professionals and contribute to the development of the legal function.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or another recognised common‑law jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience providing broad corporate and commercial legal support within a large organisation or leading law firm.
• Significant exposure to day‑to‑day commercial contracting and corporate advisory work.
