Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead the day‑to‑day activities of a 5‑star luxury hotel in Dubai, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to Food & Beverage, Culinary, Rooms, and other guest‑facing areas.
• Drive profitability, quality, and service standards in restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Monitor operational performance, revenue, guest satisfaction, and compliance with brand standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Maintain oversight of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa, Security, and other support functions.
• Lead, coach, and develop department heads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support VIP arrivals, special events, and pre‑opening projects across the hospitality portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive hotel operations experience, preferably in luxury 5‑star properties.
• Strong background in Food & Beverage and Culinary operations, with experience overseeing large‑scale restaurants, bars, and banqueting.
• Previous senior leadership role such as Director of Operations, Director of F&B, or Executive Assistant Manager.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence.
