Director of Shared Services

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for unifying and optimizing core support functions across the organisation, driving operational efficiency and aligning services with strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shared services agenda, creating a coordinated operating model across people, finance, procurement, facilities, administration and technology support.
• Simplify processes, strengthen governance and introduce performance measures to improve internal operations.
• Own departmental planning, budgeting and resource allocation while monitoring performance and taking corrective action.
• Drive major organisational change and service transformation initiatives, embedding new structures and ways of working.
• Develop leadership capability, succession planning and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in shared services, corporate services or broad operational leadership.
• Proven track record of improving service delivery, operational efficiency and leading cross‑functional initiatives in complex organisations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking and senior‑level decision‑making abilities.
