Director – UAE Sales

About the role

DP World is seeking a senior sales leader to drive its logistics portfolio across the United Arab Emirates. The Director – UAE Sales will own a large customer base, develop growth strategies and ensure profitable, long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a significant portfolio of existing customers, delivering revenue growth, retention and profitability.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet annual revenue and gross profit targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across target industry sectors.
• Lead cross‑selling and upselling across the full DP World Logistics service portfolio.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive business development activities.
• Lead strategic customer engagement, contract negotiations and executive‑level reviews.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management and compliance with commercial policies using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with Solutions Design, Operations, Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics teams to create compelling customer solutions.
• Mentor and support members of the sales organisation, promoting a culture of customer focus and commercial excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and profit targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with senior‑level stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship‑building capabilities and a track record of customer retention.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
