About the role
Join e.construct, a fast‑growing engineering firm, as a Document Controller working from the site office of a major commercial project in Dubai. You will ensure efficient coordination and management of all engineering documents.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate material submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, method statements, and other engineering documents.
- Prepare reports on shop drawings, RFIs and other submittals, ensuring they are signed and stamped per contract.
- Maintain document logs, electronic folders, and directories; track and retrieve documents and drawings.
- Distribute documents, record minutes of meetings, and handle daily routine activities of a document controller.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Document Controller.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Understanding of submittal processes and ability to coordinate documentation.
