Driver Cum Assistant Technician

About the role

The Driver Cum Assistant Technician supports safe transportation of NDT equipment and personnel to diverse job sites across Abu Dhabi. The role combines vehicle operation, equipment handling, and assistance to NDT technicians on‑site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport NDT equipment and staff to various locations, including remote or hazardous sites.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs.
• Load, secure, and unload sensitive radiographic and NDT equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and equipment usage.
• Assist RT/Multi Technicians with NDT activities, equipment lifting, and site barricading.
• Ensure compliance with Sievert QHSE policies and local traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Reliable, punctual, with a proactive approach to vehicle problem‑solving.
• Familiarity with safe handling of NDT and hazardous materials.
