Editor – Destination Marketing

About the role

As an Editor within Burson’s Destination Marketing practice, you will shape and deliver content strategies that communicate key messages for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. You will act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, ensuring that communications align with business objectives while upholding the highest editorial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute purposeful content strategies for destination‑marketing campaigns.
• Write, edit and proofread a wide range of materials, including articles, briefs, social posts and client reports.
• Collaborate with client teams and internal specialists to translate complex information into clear, culturally relevant narratives.
• Manage multiple approval processes and stakeholder feedback in high‑profile, fast‑moving environments.
• Maintain editorial quality, fact‑check all content and ensure consistency across digital platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in content development, strategic communications or journalism.
• Native‑level fluency in English with exceptional writing and editing abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking and the capacity to work autonomously under tight deadlines.
• Experience advising senior client leaders and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
