About the role
We are seeking a motivated UAE National to join Dubai American Academy as an Educational Assistant. This full‑time position supports teachers and contributes to a positive learning environment for students from Pre‑K to Grade 12.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and run small‑group sessions as directed.
- Prepare and tidy classroom materials, mount work displays, and photocopy documents.
- Cover classes for short periods in emergencies and manage stock cupboards.
- Develop familiarity with curriculum aspects such as literacy, numeracy and phonetics.
- Attend staff meetings, serve on committees, and uphold GEMS policies and codes of conduct.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and relate well to children and colleagues.
- Availability for a Monday‑Friday schedule.
Required skills
- ICT skills (desirable).
