Electrical & ELV Design Engineer – Expression of Interest

About the role

GHD Middle East is seeking experienced Electrical and ELV Design Engineers to join its growing team. The positions cover both junior and senior levels and involve designing, analysing, and coordinating electrical and low‑voltage systems for a variety of projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical and ELV systems and produce detailed drawings, schematics and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform electrical calculations such as load analysis, short‑circuit analysis, voltage‑drop assessment and cable sizing.
• Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Code and other relevant authority requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural and infrastructure disciplines during the design phase.
• Support tender documentation, technical specifications and liaise with suppliers and contractors to maintain design integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in electrical or ELV design, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
