Electrical Engineer – Dry Utilities (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a BIM Engineer specialized in dry utilities to support utility infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role involves creating and coordinating 3D models for power, street lighting, telecommunications and related networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for dry utility infrastructure, integrating them with roads, structures and landscape elements.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews and generate detailed drawings, layouts and schedules directly from BIM models.
• Maintain model quality and compliance with client standards, and support multidisciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and UAE National (Emirati) status.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; prior BIM or utility project experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D and BIM modeling tools.
• Familiarity with clash detection, BIM workflows and digital twin concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Dynamo scripting, AI applications and automation in engineering.
