Electrical Engineer – E‑House Solutions (Dubai)

About the role

INTECH Process Automation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support its E‑House solutions for oil & gas, petrochemical and utility projects in Dubai. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end electrical engineering from concept through commissioning, ensuring reliable power distribution and infrastructure efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical projects from concept, design, and engineering to final delivery and handover.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for all electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets and technical requirements, providing support during engineering, execution, manufacturing, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate and review technical design and system integration for LV and MV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DC systems, VFDs, MCCs, bus duct, lighting, small‑power, HVAC electrical interfaces, fire and gas alarm systems, building interfaces, earthing and cable routing.
• Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, manufacturing teams, QA/QC and project stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and timely completion.
• Lead FAT and SAT activities, witness tests and resolve punch points, test observations and non‑conformities.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and international codes such as IEC, IEEE, NEC and NFPA.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, design conflicts, interface issues and testing gaps.
• Support commissioning, site troubleshooting and final handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience delivering LV/MV electrical projects in oil & gas, petrochemical or utility sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
