About the role
The Electrical Estimation Engineer will manage the full tender process from receiving the RFQ to bid submission, working closely with technical, procurement and site teams.
Key responsibilities
- Study RFQ documents, highlight scope, design issues and raise RFIs.
- Serve as the technical expert on assigned tenders, preparing reports and presentations on project status.
- Prepare and build the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from design drawings and confirm tender quantities.
- Track and update supplier/sub‑contractor profiles and maintain the pricing database.
- Conduct regular progress meetings to identify and resolve issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in an MEP company.
- Strong electrical technical background; Equivalency and ADQCC certificates preferred.
Required skills
- Quantity take‑off tools such as PlanSwift and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
