Electrician – Hotel Maintenance (Dubai)

About the role

The Electrician will operate, repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all major and minor electrical equipment within the hotel. You will ensure reliable operation of fire alarm, power distribution and building management systems while supporting energy‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair and adjust all electrical equipment and systems, including fire alarm, motor control centers and interconnectivity with third‑party systems.
• Assist fire‑alarm contractors during scheduled maintenance and brief them on equipment condition.
• Carry out daily checks on lighting control, power systems, MV/LV service rooms, energy meters, transformer rooms, fire‑pump rooms, room management system, water‑tank systems and BMS, ensuring parameters are set for intended operation.
• Advise improvements to optimise operating efficiency and economy of the electrical system.
• Assist the supervisor in preparing spare‑parts lists for electrical equipment.
• Repair and maintain general mechanical systems as required.
• Execute energy‑saving measures and help reduce the hotel’s energy cost.
• Participate in the Hotel Energy Conservation Program.

Required profile

• Practical and theoretical knowledge of electrical systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Conversant in English.
