About the role
Otis Elevator Co. is looking for a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join its team in Sharjah. The technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance (PPM) on elevators and escalators.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues in elevators and escalators
- Perform repairs and maintenance on elevator and escalator systems
- Carry out PPM to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
Required profile
- ITI, Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical, or B.Tech.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems and components
- Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
