EMEA Legal Counsel – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Insight is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join its EMEA Legal function in Abu Dhabi. The role provides high‑impact, strategic legal support across the region, advising senior stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercially focused legal advice across all business areas and act as subject‑matter expert on Gulf‑region laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology, cloud, reseller, distributor, services, and AI‑related agreements.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and local data‑protection laws, anticipate regulatory changes, and support policy development.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and investigations, and lead complex legal projects and transformation initiatives.
• Oversee relationships with external counsel and third‑party advisors.
• Foster collaboration within the legal team and contribute to cost‑optimisation and margin‑enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience as a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel, preferably within the Gulf or broader EMEA region.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to influence senior business leaders.
• Proven ability to navigate multi‑jurisdictional environments and provide clear guidance to non‑legal audiences.
