About the role
The Endocrinology Specialist will provide expert diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders, delivering comprehensive care from consultation through treatment planning.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with hormonal diseases in the Endocrinology Clinic.
- Provide on‑call emergency coverage for endocrine emergencies after regular hours.
- Perform dynamic hormonal tests and other endocrinology procedures.
- Offer consultation and referral services to inpatient teams.
- Supervise and educate nursing staff, technicians, and patients.
- Participate in quality‑assurance activities such as morbidity‑mortality conferences and audits.
Required profile
- Medical degree from an approved school, 1‑year rotating internship, and internal medicine residency.
- Three‑year residency training in endocrinology with a current specialist license.
- Minimum three years of practice in endocrinology.
- DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is a plus.
