Engineer I – Hardware Design & Testing

About the role

EDGE is seeking an Engineer I to support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of digital and analog electronic hardware and embedded firmware. The role contributes to system performance analysis, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of electronic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test digital and analog circuits, modules and complete systems.
• Support embedded firmware development, PCB layout, integration and system testing.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, performance analysis and testing using electronic measurement instruments.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation while collaborating with engineers and technicians on new designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic module design involving both hardware and firmware.
• Practical knowledge of analog/digital electronics, PCB design, system testing and measurement equipment.
• Hands‑on programming experience with Embedded C and Python.
