English Subject Lead (Full‑time)

About the role

Dubai Modern Education School (DMES) is seeking an experienced English Subject Lead to oversee the English curriculum and support teaching staff. The role is full‑time and permanent, based on the school campus in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the English department, ensuring high‑quality instruction and curriculum delivery.
• Develop, review and update English teaching materials and assessment tools.
• Mentor and support English teachers, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with senior management on academic planning and policy implementation.
• Monitor student performance and implement strategies for improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant English teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature curricula.
• Previous experience in an academic leadership or subject‑lead role is preferred.
• Ability to join immediately.
• Native English speakers are preferred.
