About the role

GEMS Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its School of Research and Innovation in the United Arab Emirates starting in August. You will deliver a dynamic curriculum that blends classic literary studies with modern communication skills, using the school’s cutting‑edge technology and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Pre‑Prep, Prep, Secondary and Sixth Form students.
• Integrate digital media, journalism and storytelling tools into the curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate emerging technologies such as AI, robotics and VR into language learning.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years (24 months) of teaching experience.
• Strong command of English language and literature.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
• Commitment to fostering critical thinking and creativity.
