Equipment Operator – Light Bus / Heavy Bus

About the role

As an Equipment Operator (Light Bus – CAT5 / Heavy Bus – CAT6) you will safely operate motorised ground support equipment at dnata’s airport operations, supporting baggage, cargo and aircraft handling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and inspect ground support equipment (GSE) such as buses, dollies, trolleys and ULD handling devices in accordance with training and SOPs.
• Load and unload baggage and cargo from aircraft, ULDs, trucks and carts, ensuring compliance with load plans.
• Marshal and move vehicles and equipment safely around aircraft and busy ramp areas.
• Position, organise, retrieve, store and transfer dollies, trolleys, ULDs, baggage and associated documentation.
• Support passenger ambulance handling and report equipment defects for maintenance coordination.
• Follow all safety, quality and environmental policies and report any concerns to supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum 10 years of schooling).
• 1‑2 years of experience operating ground support equipment or bus driving.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Basic communication skills and awareness of safety, human factors and dangerous goods handling.
