Executive Manager Corporate Credit Fixed Income Investments

About the role

ADCB is building a sophisticated treasury and investment platform and seeks an experienced credit investor to lead a strategically important corporate credit portfolio across developed and emerging markets. The role influences the bank's investment performance, balance sheet optimisation, and risk‑adjusted returns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead active management of a diversified corporate credit portfolio, generating ideas through credit analysis, relative value assessment and macro research.
• Position exposures across issuers, sectors, regions, currencies, maturities and capital structures while maintaining disciplined risk controls.
• Monitor credit fundamentals, rating developments, spread movements and market sentiment, conducting stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Execute primary and secondary market transactions globally and maintain relationships with issuers, investment banks and brokers.
• Evaluate and introduce new investment opportunities, products and market exposures, supporting the evolution of the bank's investment framework and governance standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years managing or analysing corporate credit and fixed income portfolios within a bank treasury, asset manager, sovereign wealth fund, insurance company, pension fund or similar institution.
• Strong understanding of developed and emerging market corporate credit and experience in portfolio construction, valuation and active risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; CFA, FRM or similar qualification highly desirable.
