Experienced Audit Associate - Audit & Assurance

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an Experienced Associate in its Audit & Assurance practice in Abu Dhabi. The associate develops audit capabilities while delivering high-quality audits and contributing to the team's priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of relevant accounting standards to perform risk assessment procedures that identify and assess risks of material misstatement.
• Deliver high-quality audits using tools such as Global Audit Imperatives, methodology, content, guidance and learning resources.
• Formulate reasonable judgments and conclusions to produce informative and timely outputs.
• Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations (including local ones), ethical standards, independence requirements and the firm's quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing or a related field with a strong academic record.
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing or a related field.
• Leadership, problem-solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments, working independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing); bilingual Arabic/English candidates preferred.
