Financial & Investment Analyst

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Financial & Investment Analyst in Sheikh Zayed. The analyst consolidates and analyzes financial data such as budgets and income statement forecasts, develops financial models and forecasts, and advises management on cost reduction and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts) against the company's goals and financial standing.
• Propose alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Prepare reports on financial status and risks, and develop financial models and benchmarking and process analyses.
• Study past, future and comparative performance, build forecast models and identify trends.
• Compare actual results with forecasts, reconcile transactions and correct data.
• Advise a senior financial analyst and consult management on long-term strategic decisions.
• Keep up with developments in the field.

Required profile

• BS degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
• Well-informed on current financial topics, accounting, tax laws, money markets and business environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
