Facilities Management Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Management Engineer to lead the operation and maintenance of residential and commercial assets in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic oversight of FM processes with hands‑on coordination of contractors and service providers to ensure seamless property performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transition, handover, and close‑out documentation for new properties and assets.
• Oversee daily FM operations across residential and commercial properties.
• Monitor FM contractors and service providers against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual requirements.
• Implement preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Manage FM inspectors and coordinate operational activities.
• Support health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prepare performance reports, audits, recommendations and improvement plans.
• Support energy management and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Facilities Management experience, including at least 3 years managing residential and commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of integrated FM operations, maintenance management and contractor performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, reporting and leadership abilities.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CAFM systems.
• AutoCAD (preferred).
