Facilities Manager

About the role

KAIZEN Asset Management Services, a property management firm in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager. The role oversees all building-related activities, keeping infrastructure in good condition and ensuring facilities are safe and well functioning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of policies, building insurance, preventive maintenance (PPM) work, documentation, procedures and programs that keep buildings well managed and maintained.
• Lead staff in responding positively to tenant concerns and needs, and drive environmental health and safety and quality programs.
• Manage building insurance and handle insurance claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering or a related field; must be an engineer, preferably civil.
• Proven 5-7 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
• Valid UAE driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of facility management principles, best practices and regulations.
• Solid experience in contract negotiation and contracts management.
• Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and communication skills.
