Facilities Manager - Villa Community

About the role

A premium home maintenance business in the UAE, backed by a UK company with eight years in prime London residential, is hiring Community Managers to run villa communities. Each community has its own permanent team, office and fleet, giving residents fast responses and familiar faces. The business opened in the UAE just over a year ago, runs three communities and plans a new one every two to three months.

Key responsibilities

• Run one villa community end to end: service delivery, the field team, client relationships and the monthly P&L.
• Lead a team of maintenance coordinators and field technicians.
• Own the client book: know every homeowner personally and own every annual maintenance contract (AMC) renewal.
• Scope AMCs for each villa, including what it needs each year and how often.
• Work with the sales team to convert non-contract clients into AMCs.
• Be in the community every day, delivering the service standard from response times to how each job is closed out.
• Report community numbers weekly and review the P&L with the founder every month.

Required profile

• Facilities management background (essential).
• B2C experience with residential properties, specifically villas; B2B or common-area-only experience is not enough.
• Experience running a P&L yourself.
• Fluent English; a second language is a bonus.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate; a UAE driving licence required.

Required skills

• Solid grasp of AMCs: how they are scoped, priced and renewed.
• Strong operations skills and initiative to run a community.
