Facility Management Engineer

About the role

Arman Building Maintenance is looking for an FM Engineer in Dubai to keep the building's systems, infrastructure and operations running smoothly. The engineer works closely with the building management team to set up efficient maintenance strategies and deliver a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and conduct regular inspections.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians and keep accurate records of all maintenance work.
• Develop energy-efficient strategies with the building management team and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide customer service to building occupants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar FM Engineer role, preferably in a commercial building.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits and inspections.
• Familiarity with local building codes is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Proficiency with CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) software.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, good communication and attention to detail.
