Faculty Member – Business Real Estate Management

About the role

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a Faculty member for its Business Real Estate Management programme. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction to second‑language learners, fostering a student‑centred environment, and contributing to the college’s academic and community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HCT’s system‑wide strategy and assist in policy development.
• Teach real estate management courses using practical, applied approaches aligned with the syllabus and programme goals.
• Utilise educational technology tools to deliver innovative instruction.
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, assignments and maintain up‑to‑date grades.
• Provide individual student support, advise on at‑risk cases, and mentor during internships.
• Conduct applied research relevant to the faculty’s interests and national innovation priorities, and present findings at conferences.
• Participate in academic and extracurricular events within the college and the wider community.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience teaching business or real estate subjects to second‑language learners.
• Strong commitment to student success and ability to provide timely feedback.
• Engagement in applied research and willingness to contribute to scholarly activities.
• Willingness to participate in college and community events.
