Fashion PR & Showroom Intern

About the role

CHANEL is looking for a Fashion PR & Showroom Intern in Dubai to support its Fashion PR team in strengthening the visibility and desirability of the brand across the Middle East. The intern works across press requests, sample coordination, showroom management, reporting and events, gaining hands-on experience of luxury fashion PR alongside local, regional and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Press requests and shoots: coordinate multibrand press requests locally and internationally with stylists and global counterparts, liaise with stylists on shoot information and environments, and arrange delivery and collection of fashion looks for special shoots, loans and other sample movements.
• Sample coordination: book and coordinate couriers, and coordinate sample requests and deliveries, including for Watches & Fine Jewellery and Fragrance & Beauty special shoots.
• Showroom: input new samples into Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS), create and update press-rack decks, maintain the showroom daily, and assist with sample coordination for event fittings and internal loans.
• Reporting: monitor fashion and celebrity press clippings across print, digital and social media, prepare coverage reports for fashion shows and events, complete global feedback reports and PR studies, and upload clippings to shared drives.
• Events: support the planning and delivery of fashion events, coordinating samples, logistics and related PR activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Fashion, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous internship or initial experience in PR, events, media, fashion or luxury is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.
• A strong interest in fashion, luxury, media, celebrity culture and public relations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Launchmetrics or Fashion GPS is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
